To make sure projects can keep track of and watch over their PPP't or other project profiles, we now have a Project Profile . Here : Project Profiles , you can read what a Project Profile does and why it was created for the projects, we are still experimenting, but if project members accept the invitation of the Project Profile , they will receive the Project Profile feed and this will make it more easy for you as a project member to participate, because by this feed you always will know what we are working on (where the action is) and can join and help as well :)
For Project Members: If you have Dutch Roots Profiles that are finished, so sourced , improved and templated and or PPP't, this is a possibility to either reduce the amount of profiles you're managing and be sure the profiles are taken care of and watched over by the project , or by adding the Project profile as additional manager to make sure we all can watch over the PPP't and finished profiles you're managing .
For all Wikitree members : If you are managing a lot of Dutch profiles, but just don't have enough time to work on them and get them finished, or don't know where to start or find the proper sources for them, so if you really would like and could use some help sourcing and improving any of the Dutch Pre-1811 ones you're managing :
This is how you can add the Project Profile as manager:
1.Click the Privacy tab on these Dutch profiles.
2. In the Add to Trusted List section, enter: firstname.lastname@example.org and press Add this Person
3. to add the Dutch Roots Project as manager: In the Trusted List section, select the link for email@example.com to Add as Manager.
This way we can help and try to get them all finished and PPP't if this is needed and maybe you would like to join the project as well ? see below :)
