Hi United,

I look forward to seeing you around the tree!

All 50 U.S. state projects (plus some other projects) are sub-projects of the United States History project. Some of these are also set up with separate project accounts, but many are not. New Jersey is one that does not yet have a project account, so it functions as a sub-project.

Should the New Jersey sub-project be one of the underlings here?

Hi everyone! I sent several "post-Thon" messages to Virginia & US Southern Colonies Google groups. One was about adopting a Virginia county & working on db_errors for that county.

Paula J of US Southern Colonies replied in part:

US History project is the upper level project for the Virginia project and all states have a similar project where organizing adopt a county has typically been organized. There are still many counties open in most of the Southern states. There are also many states left.

To adopt a state, see this section of the US History project page. That section also has a link to [OPS/US History], where you can adopt a county.

Cheers, Liz ~ Virginia Project

I added some tags. Let me know if there are others you'd like to add (considering 20-tag limit).

Cheers, Liz
