Biography

Bruce was born at Grace Hospital in Vancouver. He grew up in Tsawwassen BC and graduated from South Delta Senior Secondary school in 1983. After spending 2 years in Bible School he attended Acadia University, graduating with a BBA in 1989. He earned a diploma in Network Engineering in 1998 from Royal Roads University and a Masters in Adult Education from University of New Brunswich in 2013.

He married Dianne Leslie Carson in 1996. She had a daughter Mackenzi Rose Mawbey from a previous relationship. They had three children together. Joniah Grace Wilbee, Paige Sarah Elizabeth Wilbee and Kaeden Stanley Carson Wilbee.

Bruce has spent most of his career with Sprott Shaw College as an Instructor, Campus Director, Director of Education, Regional Director and as Director of Information Technologies.

He has served on a number of boards such as Community Futures, Cowichan Business Development, Duncan Rotary (President), New Life Community Mission and Mustard Seed Advisory committee.
