Biography

Job was a Friend (Quaker)

Job Wilbur, son of John and Sarah (Bragg) Wilbur, was born on 11 Jan. 1809 at New York, USA. [1][2] He was a listed as a child of his parents when they were members of Easton & Saratoga Society of Friends on 21 May 1829 at Washington County, New York. [1]

He married Huldah Nichols, daughter of Nathan Nichols and Abigail (Griffith) NIchols, on 20 Jan. 1831 at Easton, Washington County, New York. Their marriage was recorded by the Easton and Saratoga Society of Friends.[1][2]

He was a farmer when he and Huldah appeared on the census of 6 Sep. 1850 at Easton, Washington County, New York.[3] He was a lumberman when he and Huldah appeared on the census of 17 Aug. 1860 at Easton, Washington County, New York. [4] He was a retired farmer when he and Huldah appeared on the census of 15 July 1870 at Easton, Washington County, New York.[5] He was a farmer when he and Huldah appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 at Easton, Washington County, New York.[6]

Job died on 8 July 1880 at Washington County, New York, at age 71.[1]
