Biography

MORMON PIONEER: Eli P. Kelsey Company left Kanesville, Iowa early July 1852 and arrived in Salt Lake 16 Oct 1852. Phebe's mother died crossing the plains. (Mormon Trail Nebraska)


Phebe Eunice Wilbur was born to Melvin Wilbur and Eunice Dennis in Kirtland, Ohio on 27 Apr 1837. Her parents were early converts to Mormonism in 1832 from Rhode Island and were disowned by family and friends for so converting.

Phoebe was born in 1837.
