Lucy Ellen Wilcox was born on October 16, 1944 in Munfordville, Hart, Kentucky to James Benjamin and Margaret (Hall) Wilcox. She married Ebenezer Williams on November 13, 1864 in Macon County, Missouri. They were the parents of James R. (1867-1932), Sarah (1868-1955), Mary (1870-1968), David Thomas (1871-1962), Henry Ebenezer (born in 1878), Elizabeth (1881-1932), and William (born 1881). They lived in Randolph County, Missouri in 1880 and 1900, and in Sangamon County, Illinois by 1910 on. She died at the age of 87 on July 29, 1932 in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois, and was buried on August 1, 1932 in Oakridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.
