Edward Wilcox was born in 1709 in Kingston, Rhode Island, his father, Thomas, was 45 and his mother, Martha, was 41. He married Amy Sheffield and they had three children together. He then married Marcy Mary Robinson and they had one son together. He died in 1774 in Richmond, Rhode Island and was buried on North side of Post Rd Westerly, Rhode Island.
