According to his wife's obituary, Robert came to Montana from Wisconsin to do mining. They were married 5/6/1901 in Helena and the later lived in Cody, WY where they both worked on a ranch. After their daughter Lucy was born in 1907, they left Wyoming (1910) and moved to Deer Lodge, MT. They possibly lived with Many Ann's sister, Julia Calcut, when my father, John Theodore Wilcox was born. He was later adopted circa 9/1912 by George and Julia Calcut and his name was changed to John George Calcut.
