Biography

Tamzen (Wilcox) Minor Miner was born in Connecticut.

Tamzen Wilcox was born say 1675 at Stonington, Connecticut Colony. Her parents are not known at this time.

Tamzen married as his third wife Elnathan Miner (alias Minor), son of Deacon Manassah and Lydia (Moore) Miner on 14 October 1718 at Stonington, Connecticut Colony by Capt. John Babcock.^[1]She and Elnathan had one son born at Stonington:

1. Daniel Minor [sic] (b. say 1719).

It is suggested that Tamzen (Wilcox) Minor died in 1719 in her 44th year at Stonington, Connecticut possibly following the birth of their son, Daniel. She is buried in the Wequetequock Burial Ground (aka Miner Cemetery) at Stonington, New London, Connecticut.^[2][3]
