Fatal Accident at Oberon
Oberon, Saturday.
William Wilcox, a very old resident of the district, met with an accident whilst ploughing, causing, a rupture which proved fatal. He was buried yesterday.[7]
FATAL ACCIDENT. — Our Oberon correspondent writes to say that an old resident of the district, Mr. William Wilcox, of Norway, met with an accident last Wednesday. While ploughing in the field the plough caught in a stump and Wilcox was thrown down with considerable force, receiving serious injury, from the effects of which he died on the following day.[1]
