Thomas Wilcox b. 1805 d. 1833[3] bur. 5th May 1833 at St. Neots, Huntingdonshire, England[4]
The story that was published in Australia in 1926[7] tells a tale of a Joseph Wilcox running off with the sister of William Jennens who died intestate in 1798 leaving the "Jennens Millions".
However Thomas' wife Mary had died in 1837 aged 60 and therefore born about 1778, so could not have possibly been the sister of William Jennens who was born about 1700. In fact William's father Robert died in 1725, and his mother Ann died in 1761....way before Mary was even born.
Thomas did not marry in Huntingdonshire - the Huntingdonshire Marriage index available at FindMyPast lists very few Wilcox/Wilcocks
