Biography
When Edward Danby Wilder was born on February 10, 1824, in Whitley, Kentucky, his father, Solomon, was 21 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 18. He married Mary Wilder and they had seven children together. He then married widow Rowena Scott on November 27, 1891. He died on August 10, 1895, in Wise, Texas, at the age of 71, and was buried in Decatur, Texas.
