Hattie Green Wildes was born in Georgetown, Essex, Massachusetts, United States 22 May 1871, daughter of Jeremiah Jewett Wildes (1834–1919) and Sarah Ellen (Tarleton) Wildes (1835–1911).

In the 1940 census Hattie (age 68) was the single head of household in Georgetown, Essex, Massachusetts, United States.^[1]
