Theda Mae Womack Lawhon, 89, died October 10, 2015, at Cross Ridge Hospital in Wynne, Arkansas. She owned a general mercantile store at Sage with her husband, Ray Von Womack. Before retirement, she was director of the Izard County Senior Citizens Center at Brockwell. She was skilled at sewing and tailoring. She loved cooking for her family. She volunteered time in community service. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Coy Womack and his wife, Debbie of Sidney, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Rusty Stroud of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Laney Stroud of West Plains, Missouri, Terry Womack of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, Vicki Haas and Amanda Bledsoe, both of Melbourne, and Codi Hellums of Sidney, Arkansas; fifteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin Wiles of Sidney and J. R. Wiles of Thayer, Missouri; two sisters, Vernee Duckett of Sage, Arkansas and Katie Pendleton of Alexander, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
