Faris Wiley Dies in Albuquerque; Funeral Saturday
Funeral services were held at the McCarty Funeral Home Saturday, December 31, for Wallace Faris Wiley, 69, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27 at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M., with the Rev. Richard Teaford officiating. Interment was in the Anna Cemetery.
He was a member of Anna Lodge No. 520 AF & AM, and was a retired engineer for Bridges for the Illinois State Highway Department of Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Hileman; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Swogger, Portland, Oregon , and [one son] Wallace Faris Wiley, Prairie Village, Kan.
He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Isabelle Grear, Albuquerque; two brothers, Carl Wiley, Effingham, and Phillip Wiley, Philadelphia, Pa. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and other relatives and a host of friends.
