Before 1927 Charles met Hattie Mearl Howes and married. He had two sons and one daughter, and one step son; James Ferman with Hattie Mearl Howes . He died on October 21, 1946, in Graham, Oklahoma, at the age of 52. Both Charles and Hattie are Buried at Graham Cemetery, Graham Carter County, Oklahoma
