Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2009 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Michael Izen will officiate and burial will be in St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish prayers will be held 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Sharon Rae Corcoran was born June 9, 1936 in Minneapolis to Robert and Lucile (Hall) Wiley. She married Thomas Corcoran on June 4, 1954 in St. Anthony. They lived in Maple Lake and raised 6 children. She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church and the Maple Lake VFW Auxiliary Post 7664. She enjoyed camping, reading, socializing, playing bingo and traveling to casinos. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom; children, Lonnie of Phoenix, AZ, Sally (Willie) Braddy of Savage, Danny of Maple Lake, Connie (Brad) Brandt of New Prague, Kelley (Todd) Knickerbocker of South Haven and Susie (Jeff) Carlson of Prior Lake; brother in law, Jerry Enfield of Burnsville; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Enfield; and brother, Robert Wiley.
Pallbearers will be Bob Enfield and Jim Enfield, Bryan Thompson, Dan Turek, Joe Corcoran and Willy Woida. Marge Pavlik, organist and the Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
