Elizabeth was born in 1807 in Garrard County, Kentucky. Elizabeth Wiley ... She was the daughter of John Wylie Jr., born on October 15, 1738, in Caskam, Aghaderg Parish, Upper Iveagh, County Down, N. Ireland, and his wife, Sarah (aka Sally) (McWilliams) Wylie, born in 1777, in Virginia. They were married on Feb. 26, 1799, in Madison County, Kentucky.
Elizabeth Wylie married William H. Thompson on April 13, 1830, in Garrard Co., Kentucky. She was his second wife.
She and William Thompson had one child:
Alas, Elizabeth (Wylie) Thompson, died that same month of complications from the birth of her son. She died in Liberty, Clay Co., Missouri, USA.
