Willie Wilburn Wilhite II, U.S. Navy retired chief petty officer, Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside memorial service with military honors 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Kan.
Willie was born Dec. 6, 1950, in Ottawa, Kan., the son of Willie W. Wilhite and Beulah Rose Nelson.
Survivors include three daughters, Lori Gayle Breland and husband, Carlos Maldonado III, Corpus Christi, Texas, Danelle Hargraves and husband, Zachariah, Cedar Park, Texas, and Andrea Wilhite, Austin, Texas; two grandchildren, Nickolas Andrew and Abigail Rose; three sisters, Patricia Wells, Sandra Kay Teter and Melody Harder; brother, Robert Wilhite; and several nieces and nephews.
