Biography
Charlotte was born in 1925.[1] She was the daughter of John Wilhite and Joel Westmoreland.
She married Raymond Leo Hopson, 17 Jan 1944. They later divorced.[2]
She passed away in 2015.[3]

- Charlotte Hopson, 89 of Quinlan, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Rockwall, Texas.
- Charlotte was born October 31, 1925 to John and Joel Wilhite in Dallas, Texas. She met and later married Raymond Hopson, Sr. To this union was born four children, Raymond, Jr., Nancy, Jennifer and Susan.
- Charlotte led a varied and colorful life. She was always active; always on the move; and always enjoyed just being alive. She celebrated every day as a gift and lived every moment in style. Charlotte wore many hats during her life. She was a devoted wife; caring mother and loving grandmother. Her family affectionately called her “Charlie”. Charlotte was also a pipeline manager for over twenty years with American Petrofina. After retiring from the oil industry, Charlotte launched another career in education, working as the PEIMS coordinator for the Quinlan ISD retiring after fifteen years at the age of eighty-two. Charlotte had a vital spirit, loving heart and compassionate soul. Her infectious smile, love of life and vibrant spirit will truly be missed by all who knew her.
- Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, John and Joel Wilhite; her beloved husband, Raymond Hopson, Sr.; daughter, Nancy Corn; siblings, Bill, Jay, Jimmy and Nancy.
- Those left to celebrate her life include her son, Raymond Hopson, Jr. and his wife Donna; daughters, Jennifer Jarrett, Susan Mullins and her husband James; grandchildren, Troy Mullins, Terry Mullins, Marti Koenig, Tammy De Los Santos and her husband David, Michael Miller, Jacque Bortz and her husband Michael, Tristen Martin, Jaime Heberling, Heather Hopson, Matthew Hopson, Michael Hopson and his wife Randi and Melissa Robinson and her husband Beau; twelve and a half great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, John Wilhite; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors.
- A celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
