Glenn Wilhoit, 89, of Martinsville, died Saturday, May 4, 1996 at Heartland Manor, Casey.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery, Clark Center. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m today, Monday, at the funeral home.
He was born June 16, 1906 in Edgar County, Ill. to Everitt and Jennie Bishop Wilhoit. He was married January 9, 1927 to Lillie Burkett. She preceded him in death September 19, 1986.
He was a retired farmer and member of the Five Points Christian Church.
Surviving are sons, Rex Wilhoit of Martinsville, Carrol Wilhoit of Rancho Cordova, Ca., and Maurice Wilhoit of Marshall; daughters, Donna Hutchens of Fort Worth, Tex. and Joyce Cornwell of Edwardsville; brothers, Verlin Wilhoit of Sarasota, Fla., Castle Wilhoit of Mexico, Mo., and Darrell Wilhoit of Martinsville; 20 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, four brothers, and two sisters.
