I don't find him as William W anywhere, just William and william C. I couldn't find him or Mary on tax list in OK, nor where he is buried there. I did find him in Greene Co, TN on 1840 census and Mary as a widow on 1850 census , Greene Co, TN. I believe he died in Greene County, Tennessee and is buried at Solomon Lutheran Cemetery, AKA Cove Creek.
William's wife in the 1840 Census is shown as being between 30 and 40 years old, while he is listed as between 20 and 30. Currently, his wife Polly's profile shows she was born 4 years after him in 1815. The other potential matches for William in the 1840 Census in Tennessee don't pan out. -- Fiscus-32 02:40, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
His marriage record spells his last name as "Wilhite." The bondsman for Polly was William Bird. How was he related to her?
His birth date is fourth months earlier -- to the day -- than his brother Isaac's. William born in April; Isaac in August. My guess is that the month is wrong on one, and they were twins. Also, Isaac was married to Catharine Bird. Is she related to the bondsman for Polly Renner? -- Fiscus-32 01:29, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
