Biography

Young was born in 1817. He was the son of Young Wilheit and Sabrina Sledge.

Young was a Tailor and Dry Goods Merchant in Bedford Co, and his son William was clerk in his store.

He married:

  1. Elizabeth Jane Dunnaway, 23 Nov 1837[1]
  2. Martha Keyser Shaw, 1 Jan 1854[citation needed]

He passed away in 1898[2] and is buried in Willow Mount Cemetery, Shelbyville, Tennessee.[3]
