She married Richard Allen Patterson on 18 February 1956, in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, New Mexico, United States.^[1] They were the parents of two children.

Maude "Doodye", age 72 died 10 July 2002, in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, New Mexico, and was buried at South Park Cemetery in Roswell, Chaves, New Mexico, United States.^[2]
