Biography

Isaac Washington Wilkey, son of Jonathan Jackson Wilkey and Sarah (McCulley) Wilkey, was born 22 March 1853 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. [1] [2]

On 15 December 1877 he married Julia Amanda McGregor, daughter of William McGregor and Isabelle (Bishop) McGregor.[1] [3] They had three children:

  1. Maude Muller Wilkey
  2. Lucian Prentice Wilkey
  3. William McGregor Wilkey

Isaac lived in Hopkins County his entire life where he taught school and farmed. [1] He passed away, age 39, and is buried at Beulah Cemetery, Beulah, Hopkins County, Kentucky.[4]
