Malcolm Wilkey was born in Kentucky.

Malcolm Newton Wilkey was born 27 June 1886, in Dixon, Webster, Kentucky, United States.^[1] He was the son of William Jonathan Wilkey and Martha Adeline Clark.

He married Elizabeth Lee Gilbert on 4 January 1911, in Marion, Crittenden, Kentucky.^[2] They were the parents of two children, Malcom Richard Wilkey and Faye Elaine Wilkey. He was a sales manager for the Western Kentucky Coal Company. He relocated with his wife and children from Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky, to Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, sometime between 1935 and 1940.

Malcolm Newton Wilkey, age 82, died 8 February 1969 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky, and was buried on 10 February at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.^[3][4]
