Biography
Catherine was born 15 Jan 1831 and baptised Catherine Wilkins 20 March 1831, at Freshwater, Isle of Wight, England, the daughter of Jeffreys Wilkins and Mary Hannah Lee. [1]
In 1839 her father changed the family name to the ancient name of de Winton by Royal Licence.[2]
In 1841 the family lived in Chiswick, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom[3]
