In 1841, Thomas Wilkins (10) was living in the house of his father, John Wilkins (30), and mother, Charlotte Wilkins (25) in Chacombe, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom, along with the following other family members: Mary Wilkins (9), Ezekiel Wilkins (3) and Shadrack Wilkins (1). All of the family were born in the county of Northamptonshire. [3]

His occupation was that of mason. [4]

Thomas Wilkins (bachelor of full age, a stonemason) of Chacombe, the son of John Wilkins (stonemason) married Elizabeth Barrett (spinster of full age) of Warkworth, the daughter of Nathaniel Barrett (labourer) on October 13th 1853 in Chacombe Parish church, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom, after Banns. Thomas Wilkins signed and Elizabeth Barrett made her mark. Of the two witnesses, Samuel Wyatt signed and Mary Ann Wilkins made her mark. Francis W Wykeham, Vicar, officiated. [5]

In 1891, Thomas Wilkins (59, married, Mason, born in Chacombe, Northamptonshire) and his wife, Elizabeth (56) were in Chacombe, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom, in the household of their son-in-law, Albert Crosby (23, an iron moulder, born in Banbury, Oxfordshire) and their daughter, Mary A Crosby (29, born in Chacombe, Northamptonshire).
