Jeffreys de Winton born Wikins was born in 1780. He was the son of Jeffreys Wilkins and Catherine Parry. It is believed he was born in Wales. as he was baptised on the 18th of November 1780 at St Mary, Brecon, Brecknockshire, Wales^[1]

Note about surname The family name was changed in 1839 from Wilkins to de Winton by Royal Licence.^[2]
