William Wilkins was enumerated on the 1861 Census of Canada West living at Crowland, Welland County. He was 63 years of age at his next birthday. He was a farmer. In his household were his wife, Susannah, and three children: Thomas Wilkins, age 17 years, Caroline Oldfield, age 16 years; and Elizabeth Reason [sic], age 9 years. [1]
William died on June 12, 1868; he is buried at Dell Cemetery in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.[2]
