Biography
Charlotte Wilkinson (married names Parker, then Adamson) was born around 1835, the daughter of Louisa Wilkinson (nee Price) and Thomas Wilkinson. [1][2]
Charlotte died in 1913 in Portland, Victoria, aged 78 years.[2]
She is buried at the Portland South Cemetery

The death is reported of Mrs Charlotte Adamson, relict of the late Mr Thomas Adamson, of Portland. Mrs Adamson, who was born in Tasmania, arrived in Portland in 1842. She was the daughter of Mr Thomas Wilkinson, founder of "The Portland Guardian.”

OBITUARY. -On December 31, Mrs Adamson, relect of the late Mr Thomas Adamson, passed away at her residence at the ripe age of 78 years. Mrs Adamson arrived in Portland with her parents in 1842, and that year her father, Mr Thomas Wilkinson, founded the "Portland Guardian." Subsequently she married Mr D. Parker, an auctioneer, and resided in Melbourne for a number of years, and on her marriage with the late Mr Thomas Adamson, came to Portland again. Deceased took an active part in all religious and temperance questions.
