Biography
Sarah Ann Wilkinson was born around 1840 in England. She married Thomas Simeon Oldershaw on December 15, 1866, in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut.
The 1880 U.S. Census for Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut, finds Thomas S. Oldenshaw as the 34-year-old head of household. He is white, married, and occupied as a photographer. He was born in Pennsylvania, as was his mother; his father was born in England. Sarah A. Oldenshaw, his wife, is 40 years old, born in England. The following children are listed: Lottie Oldershaw, daughter, 12 years old; Thomas Oldenshaw, son, 11 years old; Isabella R. Oldenshaw, daughter, 4 years old; all the children were born in Connecticut.
Sarah Ann Wilkinson Oldershaw died in May 1908, in Jewett City New London Connecticut.
