Biography

Percy Wilkinson was Killed in Action in France during World War I.

Percy was born in 1890.

He married Ivy Lucy Mary Goodman in Wandsworth district in 1916 [1]. The marriage took place on 29 July 1916, in Battersea, St George the Martyr. Percy was aged 26, a 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Lancashire Fusiliers, and the son of William Wilkinson deceased, a painter. Ivy was shown as the daughter of Edward James Goodman, deceased, an insurance company inspector. [2]

Percy was killed in France on 4 December 1917, whilst fighting for his country. He is commemorated on panel 5 of the CAMBRAI MEMORIAL, LOUVERVAL [3]
