Biography
Baptism
Elizabeth was born about 1770. To John Wilkinson. She was Christened on the 27th September 1778 in Tanfield, Durham.[1]
Error Note
Note that the baptism of Elizabeth's son William, gives her place of birth as Tanfield and her maiden surname as Wilkinson. The marriage record is quite clear with her surname of Willas but perhaps the clerk made a mistake. The bride and groom were probably illiterate.

Baptism of Son William
Elizabeth Wilkinson and husband John Spoor were mentioned on the birth records for their son William in 1798.[4] On 19 Aug 1798 William Spoor, of Whickham, born 23-May 1798, 1st son of John Spoor (keelman, native of this parish,) by his wife Elizabeth late Wilkinson (native of Tanfield, daughter of John) was baptised at Whickham, St Mary.

Willas-7 and Wilkinson-8271 appear to represent the same person because: This is only true if the surname at marriage was in error but it seems a good bet. Note that the baptism of Elizabeth's son William Spoor, gives her place of birth as Tanfield and her maiden surname as Wilkinson. The marriage record is quite clear with her surname of Willas but perhaps the clerk made a mistake. The bride and groom were probably illiterate and wouldn't know the difference..
