Biography

Sibella Wilkinson was born in the City of London in 1761, the eldest daughter of John Wilkinson and his wife Sibella Berdoe. She was educated at Mrs Harvey's school in Marylebone. Her cousin John Elliott hoped to marry her, but her father had other plans. In 1780 she was married to William Wilkinson,^[1] and they had seven children. in the 1841 UK census she was a widow living in Buckingham Place, Tunbridge Wells, where she died in 1844.^[2]
