Elizabeth was born about 1830. She was the daughter of Martin Willard and Mary Lindsey.
Elizabeth married Burrell Foster. They were married by Robert Foster, a minister in Henry Co, Mo, Apr 5, 1849. [1]
In 1850 they were in Springfield twp., Henry Co. [census p 18] (west central Mo) near her father, Martin.
Foster, Burrell - 31, IL
. . . . Elizabeth J. - 20, Mo
. . . . Arrilla - 1/2, Mo
Averilla may have been Elizabeth's step-child, however the 1850 census has her as 1/2 year old, which would mean she was born in about Jan-Mar 1850 and could have been Elizabeth's child.
Evidently Burrell died before 1860. Since their granddaughter Hattie was still in Henry County, this family probably stayed in Henry County after the rest of the Willards moved to Oregon Co, Mo.
She might have died before 1860.
However...
Henry Co, Mo Marriages has Elizabeth Foster marrying William Keys, Sept 20, 1860.
Also in Henry Co, Elizabeth Foster married William H. Palmer, Jan 15, 1861.
Maybe one of these is a second marriage for her, not sure.
In 1860, St. Clair County, Mo (right next to Henry Co), daughter, Averilla is living with James & Sally Foster, who is probably her uncle.
