Daughter of Thomas R. Willard and Rachel Shaw.

Obituary as printed in the Coos Bay Times, Friday, 19th May 1944:

Eliza M Lewis, 79, died in Mercy hospital, North Bend, Thursday. She had been a resident of this community 74 years, having come here from Joliet, Ill., in 1870. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. J. E. Danielson of North Bend, and Mrs. Elsa R. Parrish of Portland; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be held at the Grim-Peterson Funeral chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. R. D. Bender officiating. Interment will be in Sunset cemetery.
