1880 United States Census, Smith, Whitley, Indiana: Henry Harter is head of household, working in a sawmill age 42, with wife Ann Harter age 43, and children Hester E. age 18, and twins Lacy A. and Asa A. age 15.

Asa A. Willard married Daisy Elmira Rollins married on November 27, 1900 in Whitley, Indiana.
