According to her marriage record, Eliza J. Willard was born at Winchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of Ebenezer S. Willard and Mary (Thayer) Willard,^[1]. and her death record names Ebenezer and Mary Willard as her parents and says she was born at Winchester on 13 May 1834.^[2]

Marriage

Eliza J. "Lizzie" Willard of Winchester, New Hampshire, married Isaac Hewett of Swansey, New Hampshire, at Winchester on 12 Aug 1871. The marriage record identifies Isaac's birthplace as South Livermore, Maine.^[1] The marriage ended in divorce; it was as Eliza J. Willard that Eliza's death was recorded in 1890,^[2] and Isaac had remarried in June 1886.^[3]

Death

Eliza J. Willard died at Winchester, New Hampshire, on 30 Jun 1890, with her age at her death recorded as 56 years, 1 month, 17 days.^[2]
