Rector of Barley, England. Son of Richard Willett and Alice. He married Elizabeth Stanton 1560 in Barley, Hertfordshire, England.

According to Alumni Cantabrigienses, by John Venn, Andrew Willett was born in 1562, the son of Thomas Willett, rector of Barley, Hertfordshire.[1]

Quoted from Book Source of William Seymour D.D. L.L.D. Autobiography "Rev Thomas Willett was a subalmoner to Edward VI, and a sufferer during the persecution in Mary's reign; but in that of Elizabeth he was preferred by his patron Bishop Richard Coxe to the Rectory of Barley in Hertfordshire, and in 1560 to the fifth prebendal stall in Ely Cathedral. He died in 1598 in his eighthyeight year. He began life as a notary and officiated as such at the concecration of Archbishop Parker. Later in life he took holy orders."

Was a rector, vicar, and canon of the established church at Barley, Leicestershire. Appointed by Queen Elizabeth as prebend of Ely. A very scholarly divine, holding many degrees and positions of honor. Wife was Elizabeth Stanton.

Was sub-almoner to Edward VI. Also held Prebend of Ely during Mary I reign.
