Biography

Quaker. Ted Bartlett's book " The Willits Family" gives the birth date as Dec 12, 1733 - Easelman Genealogies of Berks County, Pennsylvania, gives the birth date as Dec 19, 1732 as does the Quaker records. The Quakers disowned him for contrary to discipline on July 29, 1756.

  • There were 12 children of this marriage : 5 boys and 7 girls - Rachel, Martha, Jemima, Hannah, Deborah, Samuel, Thomas, Isaac, Elizabeth, James, ( female ), Isaiah, ( TMLa80, shows all of the above, except Jemima as " Jemina ", and ( female ) as - A young daughter not named ). This was taken from " The Willits Family " book by Ted Lawrence Bartlett, 1982.
