According to “A Genealogical Dictionary of the First Settlers of New England Showing Three Generations…;” By James Savage; in Four Volumes; Boston, Little Brown & Co 1862: WILLIAM Williams of Hartford, a cooper, m. 25 Nov. 1647, Jane Westover,... perhaps d. of Jonas of Windsor. He d. 17 Dec. 1689, and his widow. d. 25 of the same mo. His will of 1688 names five sons William, John, James, Gabriel, and Samuel and four daughters. Eliz. Jane, Ruth, and Mary. He was aged 66 at his d.;and

WILLIAM WIlliams Boston, m. 19 July 1660, Joanna Lynn, had seven children including James b 18 Sept 1670. William died during King Philips War at Medfield, probably 21 Feb 1676.

So the two James are separate people with different fathers.

Williams-30632 and Williams-10875 do not represent the same person because: After further research, It Is possible that these two are half brothers with the same name? And different mothers?
