Biography

Birth 1519 or 1524
Married Thomas White of Poole and lived with him at Fittleford (Fiddleford manor )
According the biographer of Thomas White in the online History of Parliament. Thomas and Ann had 4 children, 2 sons and two daughters.[1]
The heraldic visitation of Dorset for 1565 lists 5 children;
Thomas According to the History of Parliament, Thomas was 30 years old when he came into his inheritance This makes a year of birth of 1560.

Ann died in about 1595. Probate for her will was granted to her son Bartholomew on 14 August 1595.

In the name of God Amen, I Anne White of Fyttleford widowe late wife of Thomas White of Fyttlefford aforesaid in the County of Dorset , esquier deceased beying very sicke and deseased of bodye but thankes be unto god very perfect and sounde of mynde do therfore and for more better and quiet ordering and settinge of all such thinges as the Lorde hath lent me in this transitory world and knowing yt to be a very godly course and qwyet to to my consience and to take awaye all broile and strife that may after happen to arise of those my goodes unto whome by not appoyntinge they shall nowe ordeyne and make this my last will and testament the daye and yere as above written.
First I commend and bequeathe my soule into the handes of Almighty god and my body to be buryed by my husbands in the Isle of the parish church of Sturminster Newton Castle.
Item I give and bequeathe unto my elder sonne Thomas Whyte, tenne poundes
Item I give and bequeathe unto my daughter Stantor,tenne poundes with all my wearing apparrell whatsoever.
Item I give unto my neece Johane White one silver cuppe or fyve poundes in money.
Item I give and bequeathe to my servante Henry Adams fower poundes.
Item I give and bequeathe to my servannte Elizabeth Sealye fower poundes with one of my morning gownes and a pettycoate.
And for the rest of my goodes unbequeathed whatsoever, I give and bequeath unto my younger sonne Bartholomew White and do make ordayne, constitute and appoynt hym the sayed Bartholomew White my full and whole executor, and beyng weary of this vile and transitory world do leave all to be ordered by hym whatsoever.

The last will and testament of Anne White widowe late of Thomas White of Fyttleford in the County of Dorset deceased had made ratifyed allowed and written in the presence of Willm Swaye, John White and Elizabeth Sealy (her mark) [3]
