Modena Parson Williams was born in Monroe County, Tennessee on 12 March 1841.[1][2] She died in Amarillo, Texas on 23 September 1930[1] and was buried in Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Randall County, Texas.

Husband John R. Johnson died 10 August 1881 in Towns County, Georgia.[1]
Modena married Allen Meadors in 1889; he died prior to 1910. They had no children. In 1910 widow Partha [Parson] M Meador is living with her son Newton G. Johnson in Howard County, Texas.[3]
On 2 April 1930 Modena Meadors applied for a widows pension based on first husband John R. Johnson's service in the Confederate States Army, Company F, 5th Tennessee Cavalry. Pension was approved on 9 May 1930. Included in the file is her date of death, 23 September 1930.[1]
