They made their home in Yalobusha, Mississippi in 1910, where he was a Clerk in the General Store, and Bessie was taking care of the home and their first 2 children, Addis-3, and Robert H-1.[3] They moved on to Batesville, Panola County, by 1920, where he worked as Watch maker, and Bessie was tending the home and by then, 5 children, Addis-14, Houston-11, Flora-9, Estella-6, and Ruth-2.[1] They were living in Charleston, Tallahatchie County, Mississippi in 1930, where he was a Jewler. By then Charles Jr. had been born and was in the home along with Houston, Flora, Lillie and Ruth.[2]
He is thought to have died in 1948, in Tupelo, Lee County, Mississippi.
