Biography
Therese Jane Ford was the eldest daughter of Patrick and Eliza (Hogan) Williams born in Washington Parish, Louisiana in 1830. She was the first wife of Calvin Jackson Ford Sr. The Ford Family cemetery is on their old homestead located north of Murchison. Therese being the first buried there.

Threse was born on 15 May 1830 in Louisiana. She passed away in Texas on 18 Jul 1888 and was buried in the Ford Family Cemetery, Murchison, Texas. [1]
7 Mar 1850: Miss Gerece (sic) Williams and Calvin J Fouriman (sic) were married in Cherokee County, Texas.[2]
1880 Census: Threse Ford and her husband Calvin J Ford (52) were living in Henderson County, Texas. The record notes that Threse was 50 and born in Louisiana. The couple have 5 children in their household: Zeb (21), Albert (19), Laura (17), William (14), and Calven (9).[3]
