In his will the estate is left to his wife whereupon her death or remarriage it shall be divided between his sons and daughters with the sons each getting twice that of the daughters. Lived at 160 James St Perth at the time of his death. Drowned while fishing/swimming at the Blue Hole Trigg Island with his son Henry David and grandchildren. Got caught in a rip was rescued but could not be resucitated. Buried at East Perth cemetery
