Biography

Abraham was married to Mary Elizabeth Shell in 1843, in Madison County, Indiana. He was a lifelong farmer and Methodist minister. His parents died when he was very young and he was raised by other family members. He and Mary had eight children: Elizabeth Jane, Christian A., George Washington, John H., Robinson M., Abraham Shufflebark, Mary Margret, and Francis L. Williams. He is probably buried in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery in Henry County, Indiana or the Shell Cemetery in Madison County, Indiana, although there isn't a gravestone or record for it: Find A Grave: Memorial #145566912
