Private George Williams served with Virginia Militia during the American Revolution.
Daughters of the American Revolution
George Williams is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A126099.

Began military service in Feb 1776 in Frederick Co. Virginia and was a soldier in the German regiment and a sergeant in Capt. Berry's Company per his pension record of 1818. Also Private Capt Benjamin Roberts and Major George Slaughter.

George Henry Williams original name was Georg Heinrich Wihelm (German).

George married Margaretha Harless at Cow Pasture Ridge, Augusta County, Virginia.
