Biography

William Williams was born on 27 December 1826 at Wroxton in Oxfordshire and baptised on 13 June 1827 in the Independent Church of Wroxton and Great Bourton, as the son of John Williams, a farmer, of Wroxton, and his wife Elizabeth, born Elizabeth Page [1].

In 1851 William Williams was living at Parsons Street in Banbury in Oxfordshire. His age was given as 24, implying a birth date in 1826 or 1827. His birthplace was given as Wroxton, Oxfordshire. He was a butcher, employing 1 man [2].

In 1881 William was living at 26 Parsons Street in Banbury with his wife Sarah and their children. His age was given as 54, implying a birth date in 1826 or 1827. His birthplace was given as Wroxton, Oxfordshire. He was a butcher [3].

William Williams died "somewhat suddenly" at his home at 26 Parsons Street in Banbury on 29 January 1894 at the age of 67 [4] [5] [6]
